Readers Workshop and Sticky Notes

Today we learned that great readers use sticky notes to show a feeling they had while reading. We practiced saying the sentence "I picked this page because it made me feel____." We even shared out feeling with a buddy after our Reading Stamina Challenge!

Center Time

What an exciting day! We had three fun centers: 1) Exploring a Pumpkin 2) Writing letters in Shaving Cream 3) Sequencing our Shared Reading

Retelling a Story with Braidy

Today we used our very own Raz Kids account! First, we listen to a story by clicking the ear, then we try our best to read it by ourselves! Our login information will be sent home in Red Folders today!

Super Readers!

Today we read about a dog named Dexter who wanted to become a Superhero. He worked hard and never gave up on his goals. We are becoming Super Readers in Kindergarten. Just like Dexter, the Superhero dog, we are working hard and practicing reading everyday! Here are some pictures of our first Kindergarten Reading Stamina Challenge!
