Dr. Seuss's Birthday

In March, we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday.  We practiced making rhyming words with our new hats.  We also read many of his books in class.  The whole Kindergarten participated in a Dr. Seuss March Madness challenge to see which book the grade thought was the best. The top three are ABC, What I Was Scared Of, and Green Eggs and Ham.  We'll find out the winner after April break!

Playground Fun

Our terrific group of kids always has a great time at recess!

PE

The class worked hard in PE to earn scooter licenses from Miss M.  Here are pictures of some of our new drivers.

and we celebrated the end of Harry Potter Week.  We are so lucky to have such a fabulous PE teacher!

Transition Day

Today was a big day in Room 109.  The class said goodbye to Mrs. Huang by presenting her with a Thank You book.  We will miss her and wish her well in her next assignment as a long term sub in 4th Grade!

We also had surprise visitors today- Mrs. Johnson and baby Connor! The class was so excited to see them.  We presented them a Baby Advice book from the class.  Each student created a "how to..." page.

We hope that everyone has a great week off. We look forward to having Mrs. Johnson back full time after April break!
