First Fun Friday!

What an incredible day! 109 Kindergarten students learned fire drill procedures: stop, stand up and walk into line. We are ready and waiting for the firefighters to come visit our school and watch us be respectful, responsible and ready for a fire drill.

Students played with big legos, vehicles and shapes during choice time and did an amazing job sharing toys with friends.

This week we learned to “catch a bubble” in our mouth while walking through the hall to help us stay respectful and quiet.

In room 109 and at Stapleton School, students get what they need and not always what they want. Not everyone will get the same things in 109 to be a successful learner. Students get what they need as individuals.  Today we learned about all of the interesting tools in our sensory corner that help us be great learners like headphones, squishy balls, bubbles, and more! These tools are used daily in our classroom to help everyone feel happy and be the best learner he/she can be!

Here are some fun pictures from our day:

Our First Day

We had an incredible first day! We earned Pom Poms for listening and being kind, played with toys, read The Kissing Hand, went to Phys. Ed with Ms M and even played outside on the playground! What a busy day! We can’t wait for more fun tomorrow!
