Safety Drill

Good afternoon,

At Stapleton Elementary School emphasis is placed on safety in every area of school. To that point, Lockdown drills are held several times a year to ensure that students and staff know exactly how to respond by following our School Emergency  Procedures. Today, the Framingham Police Department conducted a lockdown drill and we are proud to say that our staff and students did an excellent job following our safety protocol.

Thank you,

Stapleton's Administrative Team

Wednesday Fun!

Today was our first day of literacy centers.  Students worked hard to build their name out of play doh, stamp their name with letter stamps, and build name puzzles.  Kindergarteners even practiced building each others names!

After literacy centers, students earned time to explore our math manipulatives.  We had fun playing and learning and we did an awesome job cleaning up!

Fire Drill

A message from MARY E STAPLETON ELEM SCHOOL
Good afternoon,
At Stapleton Elementary School emphasis is placed on safety in every area of school. To that point, fire drills are held several times a year to ensure that students and staff know exactly how to respond by following our Emergency Fire Procedures. Today, the Framingham Fire Department conducted an unannounced fire drill and we are proud to say that our staff and students did an excellent job following our safety protocol.

Our First Day

We had an incredible day in room 109. Students listened to a story, shared information about themselves, played at recess, laughed and sang. Each child created his/her own kissing hand to leave with family at home so they don't have to feel sad when we go to school each day.

Red folders went home in backpacks today. Please empty the folder each day and return it with any completed paperwork, notes, or activities. It is a Kindergarteners job to bring the folder back and forth each day. Please help us remember.

We can't wait for more fun tomorrow!

Kindergarten Information

We are excited to see you in August to begin school, meet new friends, and learn many new and exciting things. Visiting Hour is Wednesday, August 30th from 10:30-11:30. During this hour, Kindergarteners visit our classroom with a parent or guardian. When you visit, you can bring a small blanket or beach towel for rest time and a change of clothes to leave at school. All things should be labeled with your name and room #. Everything will be kept in our Kindergarten cubbies during the school year. Your first full day of school is Thursday, August 31st from 9:05-3:05. Please come with a backpack large enough to fit folders inside, lunch or lunch money and a separate, labeled, peanut-free snack.
