Happy Valentines Day

We painted our own boxes for Valentines Day. We are thankful for the wonderful notes from our friends. 

Happy 100th Day

We are making necklaces with 100 beads! 10 groups of 10 beads. Counting and sorting is a lot of work! 

Cube predictions

Today we worked with partners to predict and solve "How many cubes long?" We made a plan with our partner to decide what we would measure, predict how many cubes long it is, and solve the challenge! 

Melting Ice

Today we made predictions about how long it would take for our giant ice block to melt. There's a penny in the center so we can't wait to see how long it takes to turn from solid to liquid! 

We decided to put the tray of liquid with the penny back into the freezer. What will happen to the liquid?

Measuring to find "shorter"

What a fun day in math! Students are hunting for objects that are shorter than the string they have. We have been practicing vocabulary words "compare," "shorter," and "endpoint." Look what we came up with!
